Reality Check LA
WE SPARK HONEST CONVERSATIONS ABOUT SELF-WORTH, SEX, AND RELATIONSHIPS.
Reality Check engages youth to think critically and pursue relationships focused on mutual respect – free of social and sexual pressures.
Reality Check values the important role of parents and educators, equipping them to engage in the conversation.
Since 2003, Reality Check has impacted tens of thousands of youth, parents, and educators across the U.S. and abroad.
Parents and educators, guiding our youth and young adults through their life choices and relationships can be hard. Sometimes it’s easier to avoid or mandate than it is to initiate open conversations on topics like sex, dating, and self-esteem. But, we have found that adults who empathetically engage on these issues can effectively help young people make wise choices and build confidence-- helping them grow into thriving adults.
We offer workshops, presentations, assemblies, events, small groups, and mentoring that empower youth and young adults to navigate self-worth, sex and relationships with confidence.
